Warning: Do not try this in your actual job application.
A cheeky job seeker in the UK applied for a job at Cadbury for a Global Quality Manager role with a quote in his resume saying that he used to be a "super secret spy" and that one of his references was "Elizabeth *wink wink*" and the other, his eBay feedback.
The job seeker, whose Twitter handle is @jamieDMJ, attached a £5 note to his application with a sketch of an "everlasting chocolate bar." The note was returned to him with the Cadbury rejection letter, as shown below.
While this application tickled us and gave us a bit of a laugh, we do encourage job seekers to take their cover letter and resume-writing seriously as these documents can potentially land you the interview, or better still, the job of your dreams!
